Field Service Technician / Switchgear - Youngstown, Ohio - JOB #23-01000

Salary Range: $80k to $100k+ Permanent Position / Benefits

Youngstown, Ohio area Electrical Power Generation & Electrical Sub-Assembly Manufacturer seeks to hire several full time Field Service Technicians to install, maintain, and repair large custom electrical power generation equipment and electrical enclosures.

REQUIREMENTS:
High School Graduate, Trade School or Associate / Bachelor Degree in Industrial or Electrical Engineering.
Preferred Candidates will have 4 years of experience in the electrical controls field and a solid understanding of switchgear (SWGR), motor control centers (MCC), variable frequency drives (VFD), relay and control panels.
Previous installation, start-up, & field service experience preferred to include troubleshooting and diagnostic issues with Industrial Electrical Systems and Components.
Candidate should have power generation control systems knowledge and able to read electrical schematics.
Knowledge of electrical systems and code requirements (NEC, UL, CSA, IEC, CE, IECex, ATEX, and NFPA) is preferred.
Candidate must have a solid Mechanical aptitude to assist with large scale manufacturing projects, conduit runs, and field installation to include ability to work in all weather conditions and heights when required.
Candidate must be able to travel to Customer locations 30% to 90% of the time and be on Emergency Call 24/7 as needed.
