Quality Assurance /Quality Control Inspector - Youngstown, Ohio – JOB #23-01018

Salary Range: $27.00 to $29.00 per hr. Permanent Position / Benefits.

Youngstown, Ohio area Manufacturer of Power Generation Equipment is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance / Quality Control Inspector to test products, evaluate defects / failure analysis, develop QA & QC procedures to meet customer specifications.

REQUIREMENTS:
High School Graduate, Technical School Diploma, Associate or Bachelor Degree

Candidate must be capable of reading Electrical & Electronic Schematics and Wiring Diagrams.

Previous experience with electrical & fabrication inspection and testing.

Candidate will perform Final Inspection and Product Testing. Responsible for validating quality assurance procedures and quality testing procedures.

Candidate will develop QA & QC test methods and inspection plans to test power generation equipment, transformers and power supplies from 125VDC and 480VAC.

Candidate is responsible for utilizing electrical measuring equipment, including but not limited to digital multi-meter, phase monitor, and Hipot & Megger dielectric strength testing equipment.

Candidate is responsible for determining the cause of product defects and coming up with solutions to reduce / eliminate failures.

Any experience with U.L. / Underwriters Laboratories and /or CSA / Canadian Standards Association Electrical Testing Standard Requirements is a plus.
