Free Tooling Engineer
- Location: Wisconsin, United States
The Tooling Engineer is tasked with creating, documenting, developing, and implementing procedures used to tool the Companys products. This role involves improving overall processes, designing and debugging tooling and capital equipment, and providing engineering resources across departments.

Skills
Proficient in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Pro E, and Solid Works
Knowledge of engineering principles and procedures
Ability to design and troubleshoot stamping and molding processes

Responsibilities
Improve overall processes and related issues including process development
Schedule and create process documentation
Design, install, and debug tooling and capital equipment
Develop and troubleshoot stamping processes
Provide engineering resources for other departments as required
Initiate corrective actions including modifications to tooling and machine programming
Liaise with R&D to ensure manufacturability of components prior to release
Participate in problem resolution teams
Daily troubleshooting of assembly and press shop problems to support production
Qualifications
CAD experience required (AutoCAD, Pro E, Solid Works)
Journeyman Tool and Die experience is a plus
Die Design experience is a plus
Knowledge of design applications, stamping, and molding is preferred
Education Requirements
Bachelors degree in engineering or a related field OR 8 years of equivalent experience
