Free Staff Accountant

Description :

Company currently experiencing rapid growth and seeking a full time experienced Staff Accountant to join our accounting and financial team The Staff Accountant will be responsible for assisting with accounts receivable billing, accounts payable, credit card purchase cards, sales journal entries, and bank reconciliations. The position is on site.

Responsibilities:

-Arrange for, and oversee, accounting, payroll, bank reconciliations, and records management, including compliance with federal and state tax laws

-Oversee cash management, wire transfers, and reconciliations

-Process payroll and reconcile accounts

-Conduct variance analyses and computations

-Perform bank reconciliations

-Procure timely payment of invoices

-Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable

-Work with external auditors and banks to prepare and review financial statements

-Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements :

-Bachelor’s degree in accounting with a minimum of 2 years of professional experience

-Strong knowledge of GAAP and bank policies

-Assistance with audits as needed is desired but not required

-Proven ability to identify and reconcile accounting data

-Excellent communication and organizational skills

-Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, charts, and graphs

-Ability to multi-task, prioritize work effectively, and meet deadlines

-Ability to work independently and as a team member
