Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Application Developer to join our dynamic team. This individual will be responsible for the analysis, design, development, and unit testing of high-complexity software applications. The ideal candidate possesses a strong command of modern programming languages and frameworks, extensive experience with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), and the ability to resolve complex technical issues during various testing phases.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-level analysis, design, development, and unit testing of system-level applications based on user requirements and design specifications.

  • Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and end-users to gather and understand functional and technical requirements.

  • Translate business requirements into efficient, scalable, and maintainable technical solutions.

  • Conduct code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and compliance requirements.

  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects encountered during the development and testing cycles.

  • Develop and maintain documentation for technical designs, system configurations, and operational procedures.

  • Participate actively in all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including requirement gathering, design, coding, testing, deployment, and support.

  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, and recommend improvements to existing systems and processes.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

    • Professional certifications (e.g., Java, Oracle, Microsoft) are highly desirable.

  • Experience:

    • 10+ years of software development experience, with demonstrated experience as an application developer in projects of similar scope and responsibility.

    • Solid IT background with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.

    • Strong knowledge of current programming languages and frameworks.

    • Solid experience and understanding of one or more of the following:

      • Languages/Technologies: Java, J2EE, EJB, ASP, PowerBuilder, C, C++, SQL, CGI, Visual Basic.

      • Databases/Servers: Oracle, Sybase, SQL Server, Database Server, Application Server.

      • Operating Systems: Windows, NT.

      • Middleware & Messaging: MQ Series.

    • Ability to architect and implement scalable, high-performance software solutions.
