Job Description
PeopleReady ofSouth Gate has an immediate opening forProduction Workers in Santa Fe Springs, CA.
A production workeris responsible for assembling and checking product parts, ensuring that all machinery runs smoothly, and assisting in the shipment of items. Production Associates perform a variety tasks to strive for their main goal of ensuring that manufactured products meet certain standards of quality.Loading and unloading , packaging blocks of dry ice
Shift Timing - 1st Shift (Day)
Responsibilities Include:

• Loading, unloading, palletizing, receiving, picking and packing safety (such as safety goggles, gloves, boots, welding tips, grinders, earplugs, and welding helmets.) or other warehouse-related tasks as assigned.
• These duties may be accomplished by lifting (up to 50 pounds), placing, carrying, pushing, rolling (cages, carts, or ladders), using motorized conveyors.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred but not necessary
• Able to be in a stationary position for up to 10 hours
• Able to multitask, show flexibility, and have great attention to detail
• Background check required
