Network Engineer - Firewall squad

Are you an experimented and initiative driven IT engineer who wants to make
the difference in a high-tech environment? Do you thrive in an autonomous
cross-functional team?

As a Senior Network Engineer, you will be joining a dynamic team of around
ten IT professionals who set out to deliver and operate secure firewall
infrastructure for our internal customers.

Building on our ambition to deliver our Platform Services applying agile
practices, we are looking for a motivated & talented network engineer who
brings a strong customer focus, a desire to understand the customer needs and
help address their challenges. If you?re interested in all aspects of the IT
services operational process (implementation, operations and support) you could
be our ideal candidate.

 

Skills:

Algosec - Junior (1-3 years)

CISCO ? ACI - Junior (1-3 years )

Fortinet Firewall - Professional (4-5 years)

Fortinet Firewall Manager - Professional (4-5 years)

Troubleshooting complex network flows, interconnectivity - Professional (4-5
years)

Knowledge of Ansible

Knowledge of CI/CD

Knowledge of IT Network Security

NSE4 Certification

 

Desired Technical skills:

Hands-on experience with Firewall Fortinet Manager or similar technologies

Knowledge of CISCO ACI

Familiarity with AlgoSec network security technology

Capable of troubleshooting complex network flows, interconnectivity,
performance and configuration issues

Provisions/executes firewall requests in accordance with security policies
and standards on all environments

Scripting in Shell, Python or Perl

Knowledge/experience operating in Linux operating system

Identifies problems and inefficiencies within our network and organizational
workflows and assists with any recommended remediation/ changes to correct
(example: script and automate routine tasks)

Certified in Fortinet NSE4 or higher
