Free Maintenance Technician Contractor

We are looking for a thorough Maintenance Technician Contractor to undertake the responsibility of preserving the good condition and functionality of company-owned and privately-owned managed properties. You will perform maintenance tasks of great variety such as painting, HVAC troubleshooting, landscaping, moving furniture/equipment etc. A Maintenance Technician Contractor is a thorough professional with a practical mind and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and responsibly by observing all health and safety guidelines. The goal is to maintain privately owned and company-owned managed properties in the best possible condition and as directed by management. Responsibilities
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies as directed by management via mobile dispatching to a smartphone or similar device.
• Perform maintenance on a variety of systems related to residential and multi-family properties owned and managed by the company.
• Assist fellow maintenance technicians in multi-person tasks (Moving furniture, equipment, and guests when necessary).
• Perform tasks related to storm preparation and assist with storm-related repairs and clean-up when necessary.
• Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows etc.)
• Perform troubleshooting and repairs to cable television, WIFI/internet systems, wireless door locks/thermostats, and common household appliances.
• Assist with pool testing and light maintenance (experience or certification in this area a plus).
• Conduct general upkeep procedures (e.g. landscaping) and other tasks as assigned (painting, carpentry etc.)
• Assist in inventory control and stock of maintenance supplies and furnishings.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Salary: $14.00 – $18.00 per hour
