Free Machinery Supervisor - Costa Guyra (Tomato Exchange)

About the Job

Operates and maintains a wide range of machinery including loaders, forklifts, sprayers and other plant and machinery. Duties include:
Undertakes spraying, glasshouse maintenance, ground maintenance.
Perform machinery maintenance.
Operate machinery and equipment.
Supervises and coordinates employees who operate machines.
Prepares work schedules, assigns work, and oversees the work.
Ensures machine operation is done correctly.
Monitors and evaluates production records and reports.
Follow Occupation Health & Safety, quality and food safety policies and procedures and help ensure all packing shed staff comply with same.

Skills/Qualifications and Experience Required for the Role
At least a relevant AQF Diploma or equivalent
OR
3 years employment experience as a machinery supervisor.
Relevant licences/tickets.
Ability to perform routine maintenance and adjustments to machinery.
Ability to troubleshoot faults and breakdowns.
Good communication skills and the ability to effectively lead a team.
Proven ability to commit to working positively, constructively and effectively in a team environment.
Sound verbal and written communication skills with the ability to read and comprehend written procedures and complete operational records.
High level of commitment to health and safety, hygiene and food safety procedures and practices.
A willingness to work outside normal hours, including working night shifts and weekends if required.

Salary:
$63,000 -$67,600 p.a. plus super
