Free IT Consultant

We are hiring a dedicated and reliable Onsite IT Consultant to manage clients both in-person and remotely from our office in Bend, OR. Approximately 40% of this job will involve working at client sites/offices, while 60% will be in-office handling phones and tickets. Remote work opportunities may be available part-time for the right candidate after at least 6 months.

Responsibilities:

• Build relationships through trust and responsiveness for long-term success

• Typically manage up to 10 clients at a time

• Open and close tickets efficiently with accurate and timely notes

• Troubleshoot and research issues leading to resolution

• Communicate clearly during the problem-solving process

• Serve as backup for Helpdesk while in the office

• Educate and train internal staff on client environments (through documentation, conversations, emails)

• Lead client projects with strong organization and follow-through

• Identify new opportunities during engagements and report to the Account Manager

Technical Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of onsite IT experience with clients

• Minimum 4 years of experience with Microsoft Windows 11 and server OS

• 4+ years of Office 365 administration and Active Directory basics

• 4+ years of hands-on networking, routing, and switching experience

• Server hardware setup and configuration

• Experience using remote support tools

Certifications Required

• SonicWALL Network Security Administrator

• CompTIA Network+

Plus, at least one of the following certifications:

• Microsoft 365 Certified: Security Administrator Associate

• Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate

• Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator Associate

• Microsoft 365 Certified: Messaging Administrator Associate
