Free Industrial Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities:
• Collate data regarding current method of manufacture, machines, cycle time and tools
• Understand product/product family and relevant manufacturing process involved.
• Create Process drill down & gap analysis and identify improvement activities to minimize waste in processes/Method of manufacture
• Carry out value stream mapping for current state, identify Non values in process and propose future state VSM for key processes
• Perform root cause analysis to identify Failure modes / Waste elimination ideas and corrective actions with CFT on Key failure modes/Waste elimination
• Coordinate with stake holders to discuss and collect the information needed to carry out current method study and recommend improvements
• Support should costing process by providing relevant process information
• Author final recommendation report and support in creation of key specifications, process time & cost,

Required Skills (Technical Competency):
• Ability to understanding of Manufacturing Engineering Processes & practices, Method of manufacture, Work study and Time study relevant to oil & Gas products like progressive cavity pumps
• Well versed with Engineering & manufacturing drawings interpretation, Lean tools such as VSM, SMED, Plant layout optimization, Cellular manufacturing.
• Have the ability to manage complex projects with multiple cross-functional interfaces, create VSM to optimize information and process flow
• Have good written and oral communication skills, and be capable of working with the minimum of direction.
• Innovative, curious, able to deal with ambiguity and motivated to think out of the box
• Candidate must be a self-starter with a positive attitude, high ethics, and a track record of working successfully under pressure in a time-constrained environment
• Must be flexible, with a high tolerance for organizational complexity and ability to work with partners from within and outside, across different cultures and time-zones.
Desired Skills:
• Good understanding of progressive cavity pumps used in Oil & Gas industry
• Candidate must be a Proactive, Result oriented with a positive attitude, high ethics, and a track record of working successfully in a fast paced and time-constrained environment
