Free Immigration Case Worker assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced, dedicated, and compassionate Immigration Case worker to join our small san Fernando office. As an Immigration Case worker, you will play a crucial role in assisting individuals with navigating the complexities of immigration processes. You will manage client cases from start to finish, ensuring they receive the necessary assistance to meet their immigration goals.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage a caseload of immigration clients, including family-based, U Visas, VAWA, DACA and TPS Immigration cases.
Prepare, review, and submit immigration petitions, applications, and supporting documents. Be able to communicate effectively with clients, government agencies (USCIS, consulates, etc.).Provide updates and follow up on cases, ensuring all deadlines are met and all necessary paperwork is completed in a timely manner.

Research and stay current on immigration laws, policies, and procedures.
Maintain accurate and organized case files, client records, and documentation.
Provide exceptional customer service by answering client questions, addressing concerns, and offering guidance throughout the immigration process.
Collaborate with attorneys to prepare for interviews, or other legal proceedings as needed.

Qualifications:
2+ years of experience working in immigration law, case management, or related fields.
Knowledge of U.S. immigration laws, policies, and procedures.
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Strong written and verbal Spanish-English communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.09 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
8 hour shift
Monday to Friday (must be available Saturdays when needed))
License/Certification:
Driver's License (Required)
