Skills

8+ years of electrical engineering design experience in the building services and construction industry
Experience in sectors such as Higher Education, Museums, Commercial, Transportation Hubs, and/or Stadiums
Proficiency in Revit
Familiarity with computational analysis tools like electrical fault analysis and lighting design software
Excellent technical knowledge of electrical systems
Strong client-facing and communication skills, both verbal and written
Problem-solving abilities with the capacity to provide multiple solutions to clients

Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with clients, architects, and other engineers
Produce detailed design drawings, electronic models, specifications, and reports
Manage workload of Project Discipline Engineers and Technicians
Prepare Technical Specifications and monitor the financial performance of jobs
Mentor junior Electrical Engineers
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and building codes
Proactively communicate and raise concerns regarding deadlines and workload

Qualifications

Relevant bachelor or master’s degree
Professional Engineer (P.E.) certification desirable
LEED AP accreditation preferred
